Sylvestre GOSSOU
| Possessing a doctorate degree in law, Sylvestre GOSSOU holds a Master Degree in Private Law. He specializes in legal issues of insurance products’ distribution, the Insurance Contract Law, legal regulation of insurance and reinsurance companies and the reinsurance. His clients are traditional insurance players (insurance companies, insurance intermediaries, reinsurance companies), as well as entities for which insurance business is an auxiliary activity (banks, commercial credit companies, supermarkets, car dealers, etc.) As a lawyer specialized in the Commercial Law of Africa (particularly, OHADA Law), Sylvestre GOSSOU provides legal support to economic operators in running their investment projects in Africa. He is also a permanent member of the Scientific Committee of the Africa Banking Forum and of the African Insurance Forum (Forum Africain de l’Assurance). Sylvestre GOSSOU is a co-founder of the de “Bank-insurance column” (Chronique de bancassurance) in the Banque & Droit journal.
